Today is the first day that really feels like spring. It's warm and sunny, yet slightly humid. The air smells fresh and people are happier. This first day signals new growth, things turning green and lovely. Flowers will soon be sprouting out of the ground, shyly making their way into the spring as well. I don't need a coat, and the air feels good against my face. It isn't bitter or cold, just clean. We're in the city, so how can clean air be possible? Well, I know it's actually dirty and full of pollution and dirt, but at least it doesn't hurt me when I walk into the wind. The clouds are moving, the sky is blue, my windows are open, the snow is gone, life is good.
