Sunsets are so beautiful. The colors that are created in the sky are so perfect, its hard to believe they aren't paint - that it is nature. My favorites are the ones that produce pinks, reds, oranges and yellows. The warm colors are always the brightest.
One of the things I love most about this apartment is the ugly glass tiled window in the kitchen. Its so gaudy, but when the sun is rising or setting it creates a beautiful glow in the kitchen that creeps into the rest of the house. I love when I enter the dining room and see hints of pink and orange, cause I know the kitchen will be glowing brightly. It's like a reminder to go outside and look at the sky. I think we take the beauty of the world for granted. We are so caught up in our lives that we forget to look up at the sky and take it all in.
